The CrossBorder Top 30 is a ranking for Dutch companies operating internationally with e-commerce activities outside the Dutch borders. Manufacturers, brand owners and retailers all qualify. When compiling the ranking, sales growth is compared. By e-commerce is meant both sales through an own webshop and/or marketplaces.
A company can register for participation in the CrossBorder Top 30 if it is a Dutch company actively selling products and/or services outside the Netherlands with a minimum online turnover of 100,000 euros in 2021 and at least 20% growth from abroad in fiscal year 2022. All participating companies will be asked upon registration to indicate the countries in which the organization operates. They will also be asked for the corresponding URLs, turnover percentages and turnover from 2021 and 2022.
Companies can apply for the CrossBorder Top 30 from today until July 15, 2023. Application is possible by filling out the application form on this website. Late applications will unfortunately not be considered.
Which spot in the Top 30 the company will rank depends on its growth rate in fiscal year 2022. Based on the entries and Twinkle Top 100 cross border data, the CrossBorder Top 30 will be compiled.
The nominees for the CrossBorder Top 30 will be announced in early October. You won't know then at which spot your organization is in the ranking. The entire Top 30 will be announced during the CrossBorder Event on September 19. All Top 30 companies will receive an exclusive invitation to the event and will receive a certificate. In addition, the top 3 will receive an honorable mention in Twinkle magazine.
To be eligible for nomination and the CrossBorder Top 30, the company must meet all the requirements of the law for the registered company. If the shop or company does not meet the legislation, the organization reserves the right not to nominate this online store.
