Marcel Koers & Edwin van der Ham

Marcel Koers has a passion for creating a sustainable future. His drive and ambition are rooted in his upbringing in a baker's family, where he learned at an early age that hard work is necessary to achieve success. He started the company HappySoaps with his brother Marco to make an impactful change and show the world that plastic-free and natural products can become the norm. Together with his team and the HappySoaps community, Marcel is committed to changing the world and making a positive impact on our planet.

Immediately after his studies, Edwin started Montapacking, now Monta. Then a packaging company, now the largest fulfillment company in the Netherlands. In addition to fulfillment, Monta has also been supplying its self-developed software and unique hardware to companies with their own warehouses. Edwin is enthusiastic about everything to do with innovation; whether it is in the field of AI, robots, data science, or social innovation. He also values the people within the company. Everyone gets a chance to develop within Monta; about 10% of the 1200 employees have a mental or physical disability.
