"We started in the Netherlands, but now we see the Netherlands as a test country. Therefore, we are looking much more abroad. That's where 50% of our sales now come from. Cross border entrepreneurship is important for Alphacomm Digital Commerce," Online Business Development Manager Aimée-Isabelle Roerink tells us in this video interview.
First-movers
Alphacomm Digital Commerce is a market leader in B2C sales of digital goods for phone, tablet or PC and launched several brands such as opwaarderen.nl. Started in 2003, today they work with more than 20 partners and are active in countries such as USA, Germany, Belgium, Spain and the Netherlands. With the ambition to be first-movers, the company looks for new opportunities, they are not afraid to work as a disruptor and to create a gap in the offline market.
Aimée-Isabelle shares several tips for entrepreneurs in the video below. One of these is that it is important to dare to go and not get too hung up on market research. "If your gut feeling says it's right, just go and see what it will bring," she says.
